The foundations are in for the four buildings that comprise Westchester’s newest affordable housing project. Waterwheel Condominiums in Ardsley will ultimately have 17 affordable homeownership housing units and five units for working families.

Architectura, a respected design and construction firm with significant experience in both residential and commercial development, is the developer of the Waterwheel Condominiums. CHI is a nonprofit sponsor. The project was made possible by $2.8 million in state and federal grants, including a $640,000 NYS Affordable Housing grant, to CHI.

The property, located on Saw Mill River Road north of downtown, was designated by the Village of Ardsley as a site for affordable multi-unit housing.
